Hundreds of children come together in a landscape their country is proud of to form one giant letter, photographed from above. One letter, one country.

An Invitation to Bhutan
It is with great honour that we reach out to the Kingdom of Bhutan. We would like to humbly invite 500 children to co-create the P in HAPPINESS, the next letter of the Human Alphabet connecting thousands of children around the world.

Letters
Children have already created H, A, I and E: four of the letters in HAPPINESS.

Words
Letters form words. With the P, the children come one step closer to writing both HAPPY and HAPPINESS.

Stories
Words form stories. Together, children around the world are writing a story of gratitude and kindness. HAPPINESS is our next production.

Norway
H · 340 children · Lofoten. Laughter swirled through a valley of snow-covered mountains as the children cartwheeled, danced and played, then formed the H on the hill.

South Africa
A · 490 children · Cape Town. Children from the townships gathered on Blouberg Beach beneath Table Mountain. Most had never seen the beach before.

India
I · 432 children · Uttarakhand. In the Himalayan town of Jundasoo, the children formed the I and returned home chanting "Kind is the new cool!"

Dominican Republic
E · 500 children · Punta Cana. Linking arms on the white sands, the children formed the E. For some living just 15 minutes away, it was their first time at the beach.
The P in HAPPINESS
Letters form words. Words form stories.
Children have already created four of the letters in HAPPINESS: H in Norway, A in South Africa, I in India and E in the Dominican Republic.
HAPPINESS is our next production. With the P, the children come one step closer to writing both HAPPY and HAPPINESS. Every new letter adds a word, and every word adds to the story.
In 2027 we launch Kinditude, the next chapter of the work formerly known as ABC Charity. Together with thousands, and soon millions, of children around the world, we co-create a Global Happiness Manifestation.
Bhutan has shown the world that the true measure of a nation is the happiness and well-being of its people. Gross National Happiness invites another story of progress.
No country could be a more natural home for the P in HAPPINESS.
Our art projects, which we call happiness practices, connect children with themselves, the Earth and each other. Together they co-create art and contribute it, spreading a message of happiness through gratitude and kindness.
Connect · Co-create · Contribute
Every letter is a bridge between countries. The children of Bhutan would join children in Norway, South Africa, India, the Dominican Republic and beyond in one shared artwork, and share Bhutan's wisdom with the world.
Art Festivals
At our Art Festivals, children from all over the world come together to co-create a Human Alphabet, one letter per country, photographed from above.
The artworks are sold to fund more free Art Festivals. An act of paying it forward, where the kindness of one child opens the door for the next.

The P in HAPPINESS
Bhutan · around 500 children
In 2027 we launch Kinditude, the next chapter of the work formerly known as ABC Charity. Together with thousands, and soon millions, of children around the world, we co-create a Global Happiness Manifestation.
We humbly invite Bhutan to co-create the P, the next letter of the Human Alphabet.

How the P would come to life
3–5 schools · ages 7–13 · three festival days
The art festival is created together with local partners, schools and communities, in a place the whole country can feel proud of.
Together with local partners, we find a pristine natural location that represents Bhutan at its most beautiful, so the people of Bhutan feel proud of the image.
Around 500 children aged 7 to 13, from three to five nearby schools. The schools are chosen once the location is found.
Spread about two weeks apart. The festival begins with art workshops in the schools, where children explore two questions:
What can I be grateful for right now?
How can I choose to be kind?
It ends with the children creating the P together.

A Global Happiness Manifesto
Written by the children of the 21st century
In Bhutan we would also like to plant the first seed of a Global Happiness Manifesto: children around the world envisioning what brings true happiness to them.
We envision an art festival in every country of the world. In each one, children write their own happiness manifestos, alone, with their class or with their school.
Once children from every country have taken part, we will weave their voices together into one Global Happiness Manifesto: a message from the next generation to the grown-ups of the world.
Kinditude empowers children to become active creators rather than passive consumers. Instead of being targeted by grown-ups, they target grown-ups, inviting them to ask:
What am I grateful for now?
How can I choose to be kind now?
Because when we ask better questions, we can tell better stories of the future.

National happiness practices
Sharing Bhutan's wisdom with the world
Everything created at the art festival becomes part of our edutainment program, free for children at home and in schools.
The program invites children to find happiness within themselves through existential gratitude: for the things in life that are permanent and amazing, but often forgotten because they cannot be compared, such as life itself.
Each host country shares its own traditions and ways of happiness. Produced in an empowering and beautiful way, Bhutan's happiness practices could show children everywhere that there are more ways forward in life than buying products that mainly serve corporate interests.
We place the child in the first room: their well-being and their happiness. And we show them that they can change the world in a positive way, for the well-being and happiness of all living beings.
Your Majesty,
It is with the greatest honour and the deepest respect that we humbly reach out to Your Majesty and to the Kingdom of Bhutan.
Under the guidance of its Kings, Bhutan has shown the world that the true wealth of a nation is the happiness and well-being of its people. Gross National Happiness has inspired people across the world, ourselves included, to imagine another story of progress.
It would be a profound privilege to invite the children of Bhutan to co-create the letter P in HAPPINESS, and to plant the first seed of a Global Happiness Manifesto: a message from the children of the 21st century to the grown-ups of the world.
We come with humility, to listen and to learn, and with the hope of sharing the wisdom of Bhutan with children everywhere.
We would be deeply grateful for the opportunity to present this invitation in person during our visit to Bhutan in October 2026.
With gratitude and the highest respect,
Filip Cederholm Agoo, Founder, Kinditude
